Blythe dated Orion for five years and damaged her optic nerve saving him in a mountain accident. Before their wedding, she found he spoiled Celeste and secretly changed their venue. When Orion skipped their seaside wedding for Celeste, Blythe married her caring ophthalmologist Desmond at their original mountain chapel instead. Orion broke his leg taking reckless snow risks to win her back, then was deserted by Celeste. Blythe began a new pregnant life with Desmond.
